Description
Your mood will drop if your hygiene is depleted or if you take damage. It's fairly easy to avoid in most cases. If you find yourself with a low mood it can easily be fixed by hanging out in your base and increasing your hygiene. If your mood gets too low it will cause your hunger to drop faster, and if it becomes critical then your tool usage and movement speed will take a very minor debuff. Showering to improve your hygiene will also help to improve your mood.
