Eisenerz kann durch schmelzen in einen Iron Ingot verarbeitet werden. In einem Arc Furnace oder Furnace kann daraus ein Steel Ingot geschmolzen werden, indem man Kohle und Iron Ore im Hochofen (nicht im Lichtbogenofen) unter Zugabe von Oxygen und Gas von Volatile Ore verarbeitet.
