It is recommended to use color coding in order to improve the maintainability and modularity of your base.
Because real technical standards are not a perfect fit for Stationeers, this wiki is recommending the use of one of these standard schemes.
STS-2101
Developed by Steam user _sashkaa, this is a relatively simple and cheap standard that mostly uses the original colors of the game. It however may not be optimal for colorblind players.
